Questo ovviamente senza tenere conto delle adesioni mercenarie che sono molto più di quanto non si creda.

Ma le vecchie elite anglosassoni non solo avevano il problema di un’economia gonfia fino all’esplosione di enormi quantità di valore fasullo e di una disuguaglianza mai vita dal tempo dei faraoni, ma anche quello di stare perdendo la primazia planetaria grazie alla quale avevano potuto fare il bello e il cattivo tempo e mantenere in piedi un sistema che alla fine è impazzito. E così hanno tentato di sparigliare il mazzo con un evento clamoroso che esiste soltanto nella e per la narrazione in maniera da normalizzare lo straordinario e calpestare i diritti fondamentali che ormai si presentano come un forte ostacolo alla visione elitaria e neoliberista.
