In Canada con il primo ministro sempre in fuga anche gli agricoltori si sono uniti ai camionisti che bloccano il confine tra il Paese e gli Usa principalmente tra lo stato di Alberta e il Montana. E per unirsi alla protesta contro gli obblighi vaccinali hanno sfondato le barricate della polizia. Gli stessi media che all’inizio di questa vicenda hanno fiancheggiato il premier Trudeau nel dare l’idea che la protesta dei camionisti fosse solo la manifestazione di una parte di popolazione assolutamente marginale e disprezzabile, adesso paiono più morbidi e forse dovranno un giorno convenire che la parte più disprezzabile e di questa vicenda l’hanno svolta proprio loro. Ad ogni modo la ricolta ha già avuto una conseguenza importante: il premier del Saskatchewan, Scott Moe ha espresso l’intenzione di eliminare i mandati vaccinali collati come completamente inutili e nocivi per l’economia.
